The Early Spring Travel Series

Through dialogues between Eastern and Western cultures and an abstract realm where the real and the imagined intertwine, this series incorporates figures as scenic elements inspired by the concept of “harmony between humanity and nature,” exploring the ambiguity of time and space. By employing strategies of displacement, juxtaposition, and collage, images from different temporal and spatial contexts are reassembled and layered, creating a visual experience filled with humor and the beauty of overlapping imagery. Through poetic visual expressions, the works respond to the postmodern aesthetic notion of “uncertainty,” presenting an open-ended experience that exists between reality and imagination, history and the present.
